History

Tarcha Agricultural Research Centre (TARC) was established in 2017 E.C by Southwest Ethiopia people regional state government, Southwest Ethiopia agricultural research institute (SWEARI). Currently TARC has one testing sites, Waka research site in Dawuro Zone, Mareka Woreda. The research center is mandated to coffee, Tea, wheat, highland pulse crops, Fruit, Enset, Cassava, Soil integrated fertility and acidity management regionally.
